Are you sure he said all of that? He sparks world news controversy every time he says "Democrat" and a cuss word in the same sentence, but those insane quotes didn't make the news? Maybe he said those things, but I wonder about your source. |

How do you know you are not dreaming right now?
Got me wondering too, even though I definitely have a bias against him. (If somebody says anything supporting him, that person immediately has about as much credibility as Fox News.) If someone says that kind of thing anymore, it's certainly newsworthy. Then, whoever said it pretty much gets their ass beaten into the ground by the NAACP. |

The Emperor Wears No Clothes: The book that everyone needs to read."If the words "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" don't include the right to experiment with your own consciousness, then the Declaration of Independence isn't worth the hemp it was written on."- Terence McKenna
Even if somebody supports something he said that is right? Nobody is wrong about absolutely everything. For example, Hitler believed that 2 + 2 = 4. If anybody argues with that belief of his, I will take his side in that particular argument. That does not mean I support killing Jews or taking over countries in Europe. |

If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama
That's really messed up. Why isn't Olbermann playing them every night? The only one I ever heard was the one about Donovan McNabb, which is pretty tame compared to most of them. If those quotes are on tape, Limbaugh's career could be destroyed in a day. Olbermann and Maddow could take him down in a hurry. Maybe they don't want to ruine him completely since his tamer comments are fuel for their careers? |

I've seen footage of him saying #1, #7, and #10, where are videos of the rest of them? It's not news that Rush Limbaugh is racist, everyone who knows anything about politics knows that. |

i fucking hate rush limbaugh. anyone hear wanda sykes make that one joke - "he hopes obama fails - i hope his kidneys fail, how about that!" haaaa |

By what mechanism? You've been on the internet long enough to know what happens when you feed a troll. He would relish every nanosecond of negative feedback and sell it to his ol' boy audience as the PC police trying to keep him from telling it like it is. Do you think anyone who sponsors this guy would lose a dime from a NAACP boycott? |

Tausaur makes a valid point. Don Imus, for example, was fired (due to growing public demand and massive pressure put on the network demanding his termination) and went on to XM radio and now makes doubled the salary he did at the time of the "Nappy headed hoes" comment. |

I thought I cleaned up my old naive ways of overestimating people's consciences, but I am still not totally sure that a large portion of Limbaugh's audience wouldn't think he is ridiculous for talking about slavery as a good thing and arguing that black people are irrelevant. I still don't think even most Republicans want to put somebody on a pedestal when he gets on the radio and says that stuff. I know he said Donovan McNabb was a bigger deal than he would have been if he was a white quarterback and maybe a few other things, but did he really say that slavery kept the streets safe? I think that and other quotes are probably bull shit mixed with things he really did say. (?) I am not sure of that, but it is what I would bet. |

Anyone who isn't Asian, but especially toward black people. I teach at a middle school where kids say, "Oh yeah? Well you're a black man" to each other as insults. |

Hm, I didn't know that. A bit of a history lesson for me. |

I'm not rattled. All things considered I'm having the best time of my life here. Despite everything, there are some amazing people here who at this point I can't even imagine life without anymore. |

Well, I haven't been able to dig up audio/video of #1 (like I said, I heard him say it about 15 years ago, so it's a bit of an oldie), but here's a more recent and even kookier example of him riffing on why black people are angry, left behind, and hate America (see? He starts out in a twisted Neighborhood of Make Believe before he even gets around to saying crazy shit): |

He looks like a success story. |

I have heard that a lot, especially in Japan. I've heard about stories of people who went to Japan, and they were basically treated like some kind of animal. In the "Oh hey, look at the silly white man" kind of way. They were treated rudely by shopkeepers, and people refused to help them. It's pretty bad in a lot of parts of Asia, but it's not so bad in places where they are used to American tourists. |
