Thread: What's the meaning behind your username/title?

Reserecting this thread! I was going to start a new one...but found this one!

Well, I am lucidreamsavy, obviously because when I signed up, that I'm savvy in LD's. But there are two other parts to it to explain...I am lucidreamsavy and not luciddreamsavy, because I like the look of just the one "d", and not the double. To me, it also seems to flow more. Plus, I'm "savy" and not "savvy", because...well, I admit it, at first it was a spelling mistake . Someone pointed it out to me, but I decided I liked the look anyway of just the one "v".

Series by Erin Hunter called Warriors has a character named Smudge. Star is a name for a leader in the book. My favorite character was Smudge... So Smudgestar. smudgestar. And that's it.

My username is Memento Mori :

Memento mori is a Latin phrase translated as "Remember you must die" (and the origin of the English word memento, which appeared as memento mori, "remembrance of death"[1]). as i do not have a "religion" it serves me as a reminder to not waste my gift of life by not taking in every second of it and living each of those seconds to their fullest. It is also the largest tattoo i have on my body, located length wise on my left forearm at the bottom side. It's there every time i do anything and i often notice and produce an "Oh yeah, lets step back and think" thought in my head. It also helped to convince me that Lucid Dreaming is the only way to "Fully" live my life, as that i do not let the hours of sleep go unnoticed and unfulfilled.

Eternalstar is a play on a Sailor Moon reference.

Sailor Moon gets a few power-ups of the course of the series. In the last season, her name is Eternal Sailor Moon.

I didn't really like the way Eternalmoon sounded, but I wanted something space referenced, so I picked Star. Coincidentally, the last season of Sailor Moon is called "Sailor Stars"

kraftwerk is an electronic band. The name sounds pretty cool, so I thought I'd take it as my own

First heard the term on the movie Waking Life, and realized it was the first word I'd ever heard that defined someone who "did what I did."
