What time do you get up in the morning? |
|
Hello, I find it impossible to get to sleep before 12am! I go to bed at like 8pm and will not fall asleep until 11 or 12. But when I go to bed at 12 I fall asleep straight away? I need to sleep more because I feel so tired during the day, help please? |

3 tips that make a heap load of difference |

Our dreams are firsthand creations, rather than residues of waking life. We have the capacity for infinite creativity.
I get up around 6-7am to go to school. Thanks for the tips I will try them out, because I do those thing quite often lol, I normally eat right before I go to sleep, and will watch TV or go on the computer to try and relax myself before going to sleep. But I do normally exercise during the day. |

If you're going to bed at 8 PM and just reading, watching TV, etc. as you lie there until midnight, that could be part of the problem. When you do that, you associate your bed with activities other than sleeping. It's another place to lounge around, like the couch or a favorite chair. In the ideal world, you'd go to bed, maybe read a few minutes, turn off the light, and fall sleep. |

Get up early one morning, at 3-4 AM. This will make you able going to bed earlier that night, making you able to change your sleeping schedule. |

Well I tried doing super exercise during the day (5 hours of surfing), that didn't help at all, it still took me 2 and a half hours to get to sleep, I fell asleep around 12.30. So I have been reading a lucid dreaming book for an hour or so before I go to sleep, I got to sleep at 10.30, but it still took me 1 and a half hours to get to seep, but it is an improvement, as I got to sleep before I midnght. |

Nice one keep it up. |

This works for me after getting only 5-6hours (I can now do if without lack of sleep the night before) of sleep in one night go to bed several hours early, when you go to bed turn off all the lights make sure it's quite maybe a fan or something thats all, then just close your eyes and think passivly, let your thoughts flow like wind, don't think to hard about anything, I actualy had it in mind that if I can't go to sleep i would certainly like to see if I can stay conscous all night and wild all night long, for some reason if your not worried about how long it takes, it helps alot. |

Lucid Dreams: 3
I'd think that your body probably isn't adjusted to it, try going to sleep a couple of nights at that new time and it should get easier once you readjust, since you're used to staying up until 12 am. |

During summer vacation, I went to bed at 4 am and woke up at 4pm. How messed up is that? Ntw NightmareOnElmStreet, Halloween movies are better! Go Michael Myers!!! |
|
Well what i do to make myself fall asleep is make...wait for it....MAGICAL ADVENTURES. Hehehehe its so fun to do and makes you drop off to sleep easily, well to me anyway. It makes your brain active but not active enough to keep you awake and the pictures you make up are also allowing yourself to fall asleep. |

Im not afraid of the dark, its whats in it.
*the lights turn off and the whole room goes dark*
Oh im fin- Ahhhhhhhh its a scary figment of my imagination.
You could try a small dosage of melatonin 2-3 hours before bed, it has done wonders for me, don't get dependant though, I would only take it for a week or so to get the body used to falling asleep at a certain time. |
|
Usually when I go work out (and by work out I mean lift weights and not treadmills) for an hour I'm in bed at least an hour earlier. If I do treadmills it's like 2 hours early. |
