      This is driving me NUTS.

Every time I try to WILD (I've only had one success out of many so far), my body begins to feel numb, as if circulation is getting cut off, mainly my feet and hands.

Every single position I sleep in, this happens. Knees bent, hands under pillow, at my side, etcetera. Ugh. I was probably able to WILD that one time because I was so tired and didn't pay much attention to this numbness, but is there any way I can combat this and relax enough to WILD again?

P.S. I think this is more health-related than dream induction-related. That's why it's here. If the mods want to move it, please do.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Sleep paralysis? I have never experienced full sleep paralysis to know exactly what it's like but I have read a good bit of stuff on it and it seems to be what your experiencing.

Hey your avatar isn't so beautiful either xD

Look around on here for topics on sleep paralysis. It's a good thing to know about. I would suggest getting a copy of exploring the world of lucid dreaming by Stephen Laberge I have it sitting right in front of me, Really good book.

yea I got a couple comments that mine was scary also. I felt the same way but it's pretty much normal. It is strange how you would lose circulation though. Maybe if you stretch out for 5 minutes or so before wilding, so you don't feel the need to move around as much.

      That happens to me too!
It's just SP, don't fight it if you really want to WILD, after all, that numbness is part of WILD (most of the times).

      Dear Neytiri,

this is natural. Your physical body shuts down and your etheric body powers up. There can be a number of unpleasant symptoms going along with this such as apparent racing heart beat which is really not the heart but the heart chakra, wooshing or popping sounds etc.

Don't fight them, ignore them, let them come and go. If you interfere, you interrupt natural processes.

      peace
