      Unhappy Scared!

Can i just say that this has been happening to me for years and years and it was only today i googled my symptoms. I had no idea what was happening when I felt paralyzed i have loud ringing in my head and horrible horrible nightmares that felt so real because i was awake and could see everything around me. 3 nights ago it was the first time i actually chased something down my hallway all i could hear was the loud banging and i tried to scream to wake myself up but i couldnt. Why would people want to master this? i hate having these experiences. I wish they would stop.

Not sure if you're having sleep paralysis, or night terrors. You physically chased something down the hallway, or in your dream state?

The fear in the paralisys is very common. Some people try to master this because they want to know what is there and what is this.

Have you ever flown through the abysses of Andromeda and the skies of dwarf planets which orbit around the binary star of Sirrah?

So what kind of life you lead?

it feels like im drifting away sort of like a spinning sensation but i never close my eyes i try and focus on something to try n bring my mind back. i try lifting my head but of course i cant but i can picture myself going into my room mates room and asking them for help but i know im still in my bed. But this night i followed something down my hallway without leaving my bed cause i remember focussing on my bedroom wall....... its hard to explain but when it comes down to it i know i "leave my body" and either follow someone or something or i try n get help.

I've mastered the fear, but unfortunately didn't realise the possibilities...

Kitty - out of body experience? Do you actually see their room, and what they are doing, or is it a visualisation?

Yes, I think this could be an OBE or maybe a false awakening. You must experience this "kind of dream" until you get your own answers, if you visit a doctor, he probably wouldn't understand you, and he simply send you some pills xD This is your own mind, and before you understand it, you must experience it

Yea you have to watch out, eastern religion will get you every time!

Ok, not really, Buddhism is coo. But it sounds like a nasty sort of FA to me too.

I cannot say that I understand your situation, however, I do know that part of learning in the lucid dreamstate fear is used. One has to learn to understand where they are, what they are doing, and let go of the fear. When that happens, one has mastered it and like recurring dreams, is over. Some call these lessons hallucinations, however, they are part and parcel of the learning process--they are the same material of dreams.

Part of learning, I believe it is telepathic, is realizing the distinction between physical sensation and the telepathic commuication. The telepathic communication can be as vivid as physical sensation, however, it is rarely used because it causes confusion and we are not ready for it. Even in the degraded state, people seem to have to do reality checks because--well, simply put, even awake they are not that aware.
