      Going Uberman!

      Hi! I'll be adapting to the Uberman schedule over the next week or so. I'll be keeping my log here.

      My nap times are 2am, 10pm, 2am, 6am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm with 25 min naps each. I'll be recording my reaction times and graphing them later.

      My work schedule is always changing so I'd never be able to try this. How are you able to adopt this schedule? Student? Recent lottery winner?

      Have you started already? I started my adaptation today, it's now been 33 hours since my last proper sleep and I'm feeling destroyed. That's mostly because I just came back around two hours ago from a soccer match that was very physically demanding in +30 C heat etc. My feet feel like lead and I'm exhausted.

      I had multiple attempts in the spring on Uberman but they were pretty much doomed since I tried them too close to each other. I've already made it without problems longer than in those attempts.

      I've overslept twice already so it's not really going well. It's been really easy so far actually, but in the first night I hit a bad narcolepsy and just fall asleep in the middle of using my computer. In the third night I fought off my tiredness, but finally napped straight through my alarms. I have four of them, but apparently had set two of them on completely wrong times when not thinking straight. So it's back to square one for me. But to be honest I don't know if having rest of those alarms would've helped as I seem to just sleep through them when my body decides to do that.

      I'm not going to allow myself any more failures, one more oversleep and it's over for this attempt.

      Uberman huh? This is a new term to me. I would love to try it, but my medication for insomnia will very well hinder my attempts to do so. Please post back and let us know how things are going for you. Good luck!

      I'm technically on the 11th day of Uberman adaptation, but I screwed up in so many little ways so many times that I just decided to call today Day 1. Today was the first amazing day in a while and I hope it gets better from here. I'm still failing at remembering my dreams which is sad.

      My friend and I went out today and bought 8 tiny cheapo alarms, so I would like to declare today the end of all oversleeping.

      My dream journal has a better detailed description than this, even though today both are pretty rushed.
