Get an Android, you can customize just about....well everything on the phone. I actually play with phones a lot, and study them quite a bit. I rooted my Exhibit 2 4g earlier this week (Mid grade Android phone 512 mb RAM and 1 Ghz processor), and now I'm running a custom ROM that pretty much has enabled me to do anything on my phone that it previously wasn't allowed to do (due to T-mo).

iPhone is super restrictive, so if you like even having a nice different coloured notification for when you receive a text you might as well hurl yourself out a window now. Sure they look nice, and I guess they're cool. But Androids can and will do anything an iPhone can do, usually better (Not sure the specs on the iPhone but I highly doubt it has anything over a 1.5 Ghz processor, and there is Android phones with dual processors out there now) and for much cheaper if not COMPLETELY free.

Example: iPhone, I wouldn't have been able to bypass Tmo *Or any Carriers* bloatware or enable things the phone IS capable of that the network think you should pay extra for. [Think of it like buying a car, but if you want to use cruise control you need to pay 100 dollars a month] My phone ISN'T supposed to be a WIFI hotspot, it is, I'm not supposed to have a Tablet's OS/ROM/UI and yet I do. I can overclock my CPU, and processor.

And what can an iPhone do? Make a farting noise off an app that you spent $1.50 on?

LOL I seriously make fun of people for getting iPhones, if you want to live a sheltered life where all your decisions are made for you, then go ahead. But I won't lol and I'll laugh while you have to stay stuck in your little square.

PS: I had an iPhone 3GS, and while it was functional it was okay. I ported it over to run Android...lol...Sorry but Apple is just too...idk...they're like Computer Nazi's or something.

Blah blah rant rant rant *rolls around on fire*
