Testing my first ever signature.

Ok, so last night I was bored and I got to thinking 'I wouldn't mind a forum sig'. So I fired up the old PS and took a bash. Now I know it's not one of the best, most than likely one of the worst, hence my request for CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. Any advice or pointers will be tried and tested by myself and I'm hoping that with the help of seasoned PS professionals, I can come up with a signature that's worthy of the forum, taking into account some of the standards set by other users. I followed no tutorials, so if you're feeling generous and you know of a really comprehensive tutorial you can link me to, that would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance, Nicho...!

Maybe try chaneg the font to something more stylish. For me, soft warm colours work the best in a full image sig with calligraphic lettering.

For what it's worth, I love space and flying in it is one of my permanent goals. And the quote is good food for thought. But I wouldn't worry too much what others think. It is suppose to be something meaningful to you. Something when you look at, gives you good feeling and uncouragement. Something that makes you say, "yeah, that's what makes me happy".

I tried a few different fonts and without the stroke effect, the text got lost in the scene, but I will experiment, thanks.
