What's portrait style? |

I've been reading on my Wind today amidst comics and such, and just sort of stumbled into this, but DV works quite well in portrait mode. The composition window is the exception, as it's fixed for a 1024p wide orientation, but honestly I'm typing perpendicular right now and it's not bad at all. |

If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama

Portrait as opposed to landscape, with the longer dimension of your screen vertical. I use it a lot for comic books (desktop and netbook) and ebooks (just netbook). If you pick up a nice after-market stand or arm for your desktop LCD, they're made to allow it, but at present I just turn mine on its side and brace it against the tower. |

That's how I look at it on my iphone, although the resolution isn't quiet the same |

That really does sound more comfortable for forums (as well as my silly java compiler). |
