Sounds like you have a key logger. Some key loggers intercept the keystrokes, record them, then send them back through the pipeline, this can cause significant lag. Run complete virus and spyware scan. |

It takes me waaaay too long to properly type sentences at times because my keyboard (and touchpad mouse, though not my USB mouse) lag. The lag occasionally goes away completely, but for a majority of my time on the computer it has plagued me. I don't know how I should diagnose this, and I certainly don't know how to fix it. |

could also be a "legitimate" program intercepting keyboard / mouse input |

Press ctrl+al+del if you're on PC, or Finder -> Applications -> Utilities -> Activity Monitor if you're on OSX. Click on the processes tab and take a screenshot. You've got something strange running in the background, without seeing a process list we can't really help. |

Well, I removed a bunch of addons; it's been running at 150k and now it's at 89k. |

So, my computer just had a siezure. This has only started these past couple days. The screen starts flickering, and it didn't stop for five minutes. I was getting Zalgo'd, man. |
