      Help: DreamWalker Application!

Hey, I downloaded this application for my iPhone and it's called DreamWalker. What it does is play a sound that you are meant to recognise while dreaming. You can change how often it occurs and when it occurs. But it says its meant to be playing all night. How can this be? I cannot just leave it playing all night. How should I use this app correctly please help me.

If it says it is meant to stay on all night, then it is meant to stay on all night. I know a few dreaming programs work that way. You just need to make sure you keep your phone plugged into the charger.

It has to be playing all night. The point of the app is so that in your dream you will recognize the noise as a dream sign and say, "Hey, I'm in a dream." making you lucid. Since it is an iPhone and not an actual NovaDreamer, it can't tell when you are in REM sleep to give you the hint. Therfore, you can only guess the time by looking at your sleep schedule. If it is not playing all night, then you won't hear it and the app is simply taking up space on your iPhone.

      EDIT: Dammit Aquanina...

I think it is called DreamWaker? I couldn't find a "dreamwalker" app. Also it says you have to keep your iphone plugged into a dock or external speaker.

I would not waste my money on this app.

Yea don't waste money on an app, when you can make set an alarm on your phone that will play something when it goes off. (or even let an mp3 run with silence for however many hours then the sound comes in)

I have tried similar things before, but it didn't increase lucidity, it only helped with my Dream Recall for some reason. It may have been psycological and not actually the thing playing, but who knows.

Also, there is no need to pay for any apps or anything like that. There are available different mp3's here for download that you can stick right on your mp3 player and listen to all night, as well as different songs aimed at increasing your relaxation. But let me tell you that nothing you download can make you lucid unless you learn to recognize certain noises as dream signs. Which is what your original program was for.

Binural beats have little science supporting them, I believe that they are a scam.
