WILD is hard for me because i have trouble going back to sleep because my body is used to getting up after like 4 hours of sleep. |

Hello! I discovered some time ago BillyBob's guide on WILDs. It was very helpful. But I am having some troubles...I took a nap some time ago in the morning. I used the method of counting each breath (breathe in, breathe out - 1, etc.) I had gotten to my 600th breath. I felt my body totally numb but I never experienced my thoughts being in "word packets" as BillyBob called them. Can someone describe it in more detail? Also, when you reach your 300th breath, are you able to hear any outside noise? (for example, a fan, dog barking, etc.) I got really close one time when I tried this. |

Wish i could be of more help but i have yet to fully succeed as well. I would keep trying it though. I have tried this technique twice and both times i could feel my body start to feel asleep, a numb feeling like you were saying. Unfortunately my excitement prevented me from moving further. I like the method though, counting my breaths has always really relaxed me. Its a good way to meditate as well |

Yes you're right. I probably do need to try this more. I'll try it tonight and see if I can get any results. |
