Please help me understand what went on... I tried a WILD last night, because I started to see hypnagogic imagery. I tried inducing by relaxing completely, and then Visually Inducing a dream by trying to imagine a scene in as much realism as possible. I suddenly felt my body go numb/tingly (expected), and my neck went cold (expected), and so I relaxed, and continued on. I almost started to feel my dream becoming real, but I could still feel my body swallowing, which told me I wasn't paralysed. Then, I felt what I thought would be vibrations, starting on my leg. Obviously, I expected to soon be paralysed, so I stuck with it. The vibrations moved up my body, and I started to question if it was in my mind, or if my body was actually moving. I realised that when the vibrations moved up to my chest, that they weren't actually vibrations, but me shaking (as I heard my breathing becoming a bit "shaken" in sync with the vibrations). So I tried to move, just to see if I was asleep, but I wasn't - I was wide awake. So I did a few RC's, and I was definitely fine, so I stretched, and decided just to try sleep. But when I was going back to sleep, my body would still keep sporadically and uncontrollably shaking every now and again, and I don't know why (and this was just seconds after stretching, still wide awake). I was kinda freaked at this point, cause obviously sleep paralysis related symptoms shouldn't affect you when you're fully awake, should they? And no, I wasn't cold, because I was quite warm before I went to sleep. Please, can anyone suggest what happened? Thanks
