      My first WILD...please read

Last night I had my first WILD (wake induced lucid dream) experience, and it still has me baffled. I've been posting on a few forums trying to get some advice.

Last night I was randomly surfing the web and started reading on hipforums.com about lucid dreaming and found this thread Hip Forums

I have always had lucid dreams and was somewhat interested in them. I read the first few pages of the thread and went to bed. Telling myself this isn't real but thinking I'd probably try it. The technique being: once you are lucid, slow your breathing, and with eyes closed, look up. By looking up they mean, rolling your eyes upwards towards the center of your brain.

Well I caught myself dreaming around 430 am. And being half asleep I did a couple deep breaths and did the look up technique, straining my eyes upward. And almost immediately i heard lightening...and i was frozen with the loudest noise in my ears. The feeling immediately reminded me of the night terrors i had as a child, some 20 years ago. It was horrifying, and i could feel myself raising out of bed and out of my body. I instantly started to fight it and come out. Then i remembered the post and tried to ride it some more. Going back into it with acceptance i started (my eyes are open) seeing what looked like a graph of sorts filled with red and greens. At this point it was too much and i let myself wake up.

This was hands down one of the craziest experiences of my life. I had to reach over to my girlfriend and try to calm down for a few minutes. My mind was wide awake and i felt tingly all the way to my finger tips.

So intense...and very much on accident. I had no idea this was so real.

Rolling eyes on the back of one's head...

      Anyways, Congratz on the success!
Next time, before you go to bead, remind yourself that you will experience SP and hallucinations like that, and remind yourself not to be afraid or get over-excited, because none of it will hurt you. All you have to do is believe.

I will personally try the rolling eyes thing and will confirm my results here on this thread...it sounds interesting!

I can't find it anywhere else on the net but that first thread I read on hipforums about looking up but, wow. It happened immediately and was extremely intense. BOOM then an extremely loud ringing almost like electricity and I've never had any experience with WILD. Like I said, it was kind of by accident. Literally 4 hours after hearing about It.
