      heart rate while in SP?

ok, last night i made it into full sp, and i was seeing random thouhgts, like a weird tv remote and stuff. After a few minuets, however i could clearly hear my heart and it was steadily beating faster. this was scary because it got to the point where it was like almost no time between beats. was this for real or my mind, and if it was real is it normal? When i got up my heart was beating fast, but i dont know if i was scared so it was doing it, or if it had just slowed down when i exited SP, but it was still a little fast.

In your mind, probably. Just some audio, which is normal.

And yes, you were probably scared, so your heart was beating faster.
      Bollocks.

Well, there is always a chance of that happening...

I doubt it. But if it continues to happen, I would suggest going to a doctor of some sort.
      Bollocks.

are you kidding me? going to a doctor? Gee I wonder what the doctor would say. . . maybe "stop trying to WILD" just a dumb thing to say panta-rei. Sorry for bumping this thread but I'm having the same trouble with my heart beat going crazy and I know its not just in my head, cuz im fully aware when i try to wild and that happens and when i wake up my heart rate is still beating fast and im soaking wet full of sweat. . . and also got goosebumps. Any help? :-(

No itīs not your impression. But itīs not extraordinary also. One of the side effects of the Wild process is anxiety...and you know what anxiety can cause? Elevated heart beats. Itīs documented. So, itīs just a normal side effect.

I think i know what it is. If your new to wilding then your heartbeat is always going to increase since your scared of whats going on. Oh i hear things, or oh this is different. Your going to feel different things. Your heartbeat is unliklely to go incredibly fast, but it will speed up. It has for me the last 10 times ive tried wilding. So just relax. Don't focus too much and just relax.

I also have the same problem.
When I feel that I close to sleep paralysis, I got too excited (or maybe scared) and my heart beats really fast.
This had made me abort the WILD attempt.

Yeah i have my heart beat quickly all the time in SP, however I have noticed that if i continue to let it beat quickly it interferes with the induction. So you might say,"How am i suppose to control the old heartbeat?" simple, use deep breathing. when it slows down you will pretty much already be in the dream. Dunno if it works for everybody. but it definitely works for me...

Thereīs several techniques wich you can use, and deep breath is one of the most efficient.
      May i suggest another?

Try to visualize your heart and at the same time imagine/watch him physically slow down, and fabricate the feeling of a slowed down heart beating in your chest. Just a tought
