So I read briefly about WILD a few weeks back and tried it out last night. I wasn't sure what happened, but I re-read the tutorials and realize that actually I had a false awakening.

I was lucid, but I just went with the setting of the dream. This is not the first time that I've been lucid in a dream- that has happened off and on accidentally my whole life. But this IS the first time that I've ever been lucid for any long period of time. I was lucid from the moment I fell asleep until the alarm clock went off which was actually only about ten minutes of real time.

So for those of you who have experience with WILD or with being lucid in a false awakening dream, I have some questions about it all.

First off, is it normal to see really detailed things that you did not consciously create? I had control over my thoughts and my actions for the most part and I knew I was dreaming the whole time, but the setting and things around me seemed to come from nowhere. Can I learn to change them?

Second, from the moment I got out of bed in the dream, I felt this weird compulsion in my body- I could not be still but was in a constant state of movement. I basically just flew around a lot because I couldn't calm down. I could control where I went, but I couldn't be still. Is that normal or just some weird quirk of the dream?

Third, at the end of the dream, though I was still completely lucid, I was not able to think clearly about what I was doing. It's more like I'd just get a thought to go somewhere and then go there laughing and flying around like a hysterical crazy person. Is this about dream control or was I just losing lucidity? Happened to you?

Thanks.
