      Nap and WBTB WILDs?

So I have heard that it is easier to WILD in the middle of the
day or in the middle of the night after waking up, nap or WBTB.
I wake up naturally in the middle of the night every night usually
around 4 or 5am. I also usually take a nap at 3pm-ish. At these
times I have attempted WILDing and couldn't get anywhere because
I get this really uncomfortable feeling in my lungs while breathing
that doesn't happen when I attempt WILD before bed. I can't do
a WILD then because it makes me so tense/uncomfortable and I
      can't relax. Any suggestions?

      Thanks,
      ~Wes

Hmm...have you already hit SP when this uncomfortable feeling occurs? If so, this is most likely a hallucination that won't occur all the time and as long as you know it is a hallucination and can't harm you, it should pass quickly. If you are uncomfortable, I suggest rolling over/changing position to a more comfortable position. A WILD can be achieved with infinite techniques, but in every single on of them you must fall asleep. The idea is just to be aware/conscious as you fall asleep. Its hard to sleep when you aren't comfortable right? Get in a nice comfortable position when attempting your WILD and if you start to get too uncomfortable, go ahead and change to a more comfortable position...it won't ruin your WILD. Just don't think too much about it, roll over, get comfortable, and continue your WILD process. Good luck to you and hope I helped a bit.

Nah its right when I lay down. I'll have to try that, but it's strange because it
only happens when I try a WBTB...

Hmm...maybe you could elevate your upper body a bit and it would help (during WBTB). Like to a position similar to laying a car seat back. Not sitting up, but not laying down flat either...just a thought.

Hmm I'll have to try that. Right now I'm thinking maybe WBTB isn't the thing for me.
I have seen rare cases where people WILD better at night before bed than nap/WBTB.
I really seems like this is the case, I'll keep working at it at different times and see.

It is possible. I would suggest trying naps during the day as well. Those are really good times for me. Plus, in the day time there seems to be lower chance of a frightening HI/HH experience. WILDing before bed is definitely possible, but it is very difficult for most. Just play around with all the different times and try to figure out which ones work best for you. I'm not high on WBTB WILDs either...I always wake up and am like," screw this, I don't even feel like WILDing." Then I wake up in the morning and curse my lazy self, lol.

To be Honest I kinda want that. I want to have that scary sleep paralysis experience at least once. You know?

Yeah, I don't mind the visuals or the auditory stuff, but I'd rather not have the "small being crawl up my back and breath into my ear" again, lol. They usually aren't that bad though.
