      Question WILD Problems and Questions?

i find WILD to not be too hard, however at my moms house i hear the heater going when im trying to do this, can sound disrupt my attempts to WILD?

and another problem when i try to WILD is that i start to concentrate on certain things, mostly thoughts in my head and sounds mentioned above, and get disrupted. i tell the thoughts to get out and they do for about 2 seconds. anyone have a way to clear my thoughts?

It depends on the sound... Sudden noises, even if they're rather quiet, can impede your ability to enter SP. Constant, level noises such as white noise can help some people relax further, and drone out annoying sounds. It's all about preference - you can listen to level sounds, or nothing at all and just be in a quiet room.

If you find yourself losing your train of thought and thinking about nonsensical things, it means you're getting close. You just have to keep snapping out of it, or remain conscious until the SP hits.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Like puffin said, the random thoughts means you are getting close. What I like to do, instead of forcing myself out of the way of thinking, I try to imagine those thoughts as if I were seeing them in front of me. This usually helps speed up HI/HH and the SP onset. I start to see my thoughts as quick blurry images and the slowly they will form into more solid objects. Then once SP set in, you don't really control HI/HH you just casually observe it.

As for the noises, just try and ignore them. You should be fine. If you can fall asleep alongside those noises...you can WILD alongside them as well.

      Good Luck to you, btw!
