      Help with WILDing?

      Hey guys and girls;
      Sorry I don't post often, i've been looking into Lucid Dreams for the past 5 months or so, i've really only had one DILD.

      However WILD interests me the most.

      My first attempt about 2 weeks ago went something like this:

      Wake up at 5:30am, read on dreamviews for sometime, till about 6am, went to sleep while trying to stay conscious.
      I had some Hypgraphy (spelling?) sounds,
      if you have ever done woodwork and sanded wood down with a Cork Block, it was that sound against my wall while hearing hotwater going into my radiator, which lasted for like 30 mins,

      Sleep Paraylsis was fine I think, but I did have some pain in my fingers and itches(mainly itches -_-), my eyes where also moving really fast (REM?)
      I also had a fast heartrate, this is what caused me to get up, I could still feel it after I got up though so it aint hypnographic I don't think.

      My second attempt(last night):

      Wake up at 5:30am, go to toilet, read on dreamviews till 5:45, listen to binural beat which was 10 minutes long while counting, after sometime I started getting the Hypnography Sounds again, pretty similar but this time I heard footsteps too.
      Sleep paralysis was fine, it makes it easier for me if I interlock my fingers I found.
      Once again...Itches(I have eczema so this can be a problem)

      I reached REM again but alot faster then last time I had it,
      This time I could see a Distortion in my eyes (like a tv with that bar that really moves slowly from one end to the other)

      I also experienced a fast heartbeat again but this time I managed to calm myself by concentrating on my anchor.
      Also after about 40 minutes of this, I had this urge to change position to my side?
      Also my itches got pretty intense around here so I had to get up

      So, the question is,
      Does this sound fine to you? and also how do I enter the dream? does it just happen unexpectedly?

      Thanks,
      Peace

      Sorry it took so long for someone to answer your questions. Your increased heart rate was definitely just a hallucination at first. Your adrenaline got pumping once you broke SP and probably caused your actual heart rate to increase then. When you are in SP, your heart rate is actually slowing down as opposed to speeding up. Once you get into SP, you just need to keep falling into a deeper and deeper state of relaxation and fall asleep. Make sure you aren't stay too active to where you are not able to fall asleep. It sounds like you are on the right track and are getting close. All you have left to conquer is the transition (falling asleep). I suggest observing the darkness of your closed eyes and just try to keep calm and stay relaxed. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask!
