By vibrations, I'm assuming you mean REM (rapid eye movement). If you can get to that after only counting a few numbers, you're way ahead already. When you get to REM, you may or may not be in sleep paralysis, but the best thing to do is to just relax. By relax, I mean keep your breathing steady and the same as it was before the vibrations started. Ignore what your eyes are doing and keep relaxing. It might be beneficial to know that not everyone experiences the "heavy blanket" feeling or full-body vibrations; I've never had the blanket feeling before, and only a few times have gotten vibrations. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

gah this is all so complicating, but thank you very much for the fast reply. |

Yeah, I have problems here as well, but I had success i think by chance because my brain just sent me into my dream. Please, I need some help here. We Both do. |

It depends; usually it doesn't take more than a few minutes for a dream to start forming. Jeff's technique basically involves the dreamer creating incomprehensible, illogical scenarios and images (these naturally occur right when we're about to fall unconscious and sleep) which speeds up the time required to enter SP. Once you get there, though, you should be careful to not focus too much on the images. At this point, you should probably also stop thinking about any illogical/nonsensical thoughts. |

Hey guys. Remember just be CONFIDENT. BELIEVE! You CAN do it, but don't be to bummed if it doesn't happen tonight. Just keep trying! |
|
No problem! And good luck to both of you, I know you'll have success! |

To me, the hardest part about getting into SP is not thinking too much about it. Focusing much on the sensations just seems to keep me awake, as I'm sure it does for most anyone. The key seems to be keeping just enough conscious thought going to not completely fall unconscious, while thinking about it as little as possible so that you can actually pass into SP. |

definitely my problem, i would get down to the bottom numbers and then begin concentrating so much on trying to keep going and make my eyes keep moving that they would stop. |
