      Angry Blacking out while WILDing

      Hello!

So ive been trying to WILD for 3 weeks ish,, and when I start getting really vivid hallucinations, I just immediately black out until morning. Every. Freaking. Time.

Alarms dont work at all, concentrating on the real world dosent work, and trying to stay awake dosent work

Getting into SP is easy, but what should i do after that?

I second Jeff777's free-fall method. It's a good technique for beginners and advanced lucid dreamers alike. I use that technique with deild. http://www.dreamviews.com/f79/jeff77...hnique-116172/

I generally experience this when I'm not holding onto my consciousness long enough to slip into a dream. What I do to keep that balance between sleep and awake is a little meditation trick I learned when visiting a monastery. Count from one to ten, one count for every breath you inhale. When you get to ten, go back to one. It takes very little focus so you can fall asleep, but making sure you don't count on to eleven, twelve... makes sure you don't black out completely.

Holy cow..free falling has completely cured my insomnia.
Does nothing to achieve lucidity, but hey a good nights sleep is important too :]

Counting to ten...*starts sleeping* 1,2,3,4,5,6 *sleep paralysis* 7,8 *its morning*...*sadness*
maybe using both tecniques together is a bad idea
