      Some WILD questions.

Sometimes when I am going to sleep I realize I can't hear anything and then about two seconds after that thought enters my brain it's like my air conditioner turns back on. Is this the beginning of sleep paralysis?

My second question is I was going to sleep, but I just happened to be picturing something in my head at the time and all of a sudden the thought seemed almost real. I was waiting for it to become as real as possible and then I just kinda entered it, but I guess I didn't wait long enough because it immediately blew up. Is this a WILD?

Mmmm, I've never noticed sound shutting off when I enter HI.

I've definitely done the other thing though... just last night I watched the random blobs of light and color behind my eyelids turn into Flintstones characters, but it struck me as funny and I woke up. Yeah, it's a very delicate line you have to walk at that point between awareness and complete oblivion

The answer to your first question is yes thats Sleep Paralysis, the signs of which differ from person-to-person, I experience nothing more than mild vibrations, no Hypnagogic imagery, nothing else basically. Sound turning off is actually a common sign I have heard of, likely hearing your fan back on could be either you exiting SP (maybe you become excited?) or part of SP, your subconscious is just replicating that sound based on your expectation, which is why for certain people during SP its important that they watch their expectations because some scary shit can happen if they expect scary shit basically

Your questions seems to be regarding a Visually Incubated Lucid Dream or VILD, look up the thread on those it seems synonymous with what you've said. You should consider yourself lucky from what I've read you have some pretty strong reactions to techniques with almost minimal input , its likely you're just innately good at lucid dreaming.
