So this is what happened

I kind of stopped lucid dreaming but last night I was bored so I gave a wild a shot and my body started feeling heavy whatever and I hit sleep paralysis. Before that I would see kind of purple. I heard to transition you kind of open your eyes and you'll be in a dream so that's what I did. I open my eyes nothing still in my room, staring at the fan above my head. BUT THEN, all this with my eyes wide open mind you. As this is going on, I kind of feel a bit disconnected from my body, idk how to explain it anyways this is what happened. The like rectangular parts of the ceiling fan start growing bigger, and their shadows grow bigger, then the shadows start moving on the roof kind of like dementors from harry potter, then like the room kind of starts swirling a bit, and then from the ends of the fan posts metal tentacles like those of dr octopus from spiderman come down, then more tentacles and they get bigger, and then the room just keeps swirling and then I'm in a dark room illuminated by like a candle or something and i'm facing kind of a brick wall and then a red tapestry thingy falls from the ceiling and its hanging on the wall. I knew those were all hallucinations but earlier when the shadows started getting bigger and moving towards me I kind of shat bricks so at this point I just got up and went to sleep normally. All that was with my eyes WIDE OPEN! What the heck happened?

Completely sure, I open my eyes and its just my room but then its starts shifting, when I get scared I kind of move my legs and stuff and then everything went away and then it took me a while to fall asleep

I don't think it's too uncommon to see things twisting and changing, hallucinate etc if you open your eyes during SP. I'm not entirely sure why this happens or anything though.
