      WILD question

After you have reached full SP, is that sense of overwhelming sleepiness you feel later on a warning that you are falling asleep, or a marker for the transition stage of your WILD?

Wow, am I being punished, or will the answer be revealed this weekend?

The more sleepy the better; you just need to stay conscious.

I normally feel the most sleepy before any hallucinations, transitional weirdness, or sleep paralysis. By the time that stuff hits, you are pretty much already asleep and entering a dream.

Then what was the sensation of overwhelming "sleepy energy" all about (perhaps energy is a necessary word to fully describe this sensation I had)? Should I have given in to it? Would I be entering the dream lucid or would it be a normal dream if I gave into this surge of energy?

As long as you remain conscious you will always become lucid.

When you are aware in a subconscious focus you are lucid dreaming, when you are unaware in a conscious focus you are awake.

When you WILD you have to remain in a subconscious focus to let the body fall asleep, the hard part is to remain aware.
When you feel that tired feeling you are close, here you have to let yourself fall asleep, but aware.
I try to do this with meditation, but there are other ways.

But it's only in rem this experience is vivid, a lucid dream without rem is just like normal thinking, but with your subconscious.

I get this right after I have my first vibrational stage, waves of energy.
      Good luck

I did this at night. Do you think it's possible for this to happen again?

It's been months since this happened, months since I was able to achieve sleep paralysis, months since my last successful WILD. I feel like I'm underachieving on a massive scale. I appreciate your help intensely. It means that my interpretation of what happened was correct .

I was supposed to give in to that feeling of falling asleep.

      Many thanks, from DynoTAP.
