      What to do in sp?

So, i found myself waking up from a dream, and a false awakening. and then i was in my bed in full-blown SP. Vibrating and shaking, i feel the sensation of screaming. Like, i am screaming extremely loud. But i'm not sure why. I wanted to open my eyes because i was curious what to see but i didnt open them fully and not for long. But i did see tubes and things all around me, very weird. (vaguely tho, dn't think to much of it)
I was half screaming and half contemplating the previous dreams i just had. And i was still feeling the effects of yesterday's alcohol. And a heavy pushing sensation was felt on the front part of my brain.

But, nothing happened at all. No images, no dreams nothing. I was having memory loss. And i was also half contemplating what i'm going to do in a lucid. Ithought that would help. So i remembered i want to fly. fly, fly to the moon. Glad i remembered something. Then later i thought, chichen-itza. But before i knew it the vibrations weakened and i can't fall asleep again. Here i am now writing on this forum.

What do you do when in SP?

Try to relax, just go with it, when reading I thought you were under way to much stress the transition into the dream.
That lack of stress comes with practice, don't worry.
I pretty much always get stuck at this stage so don't give up!

Do u think alcohol had a negative effect on trying to do this?

I think actually i should have tried to stand up and do a reality check, i actually thought of it but i was so sure i just woke up in my bed. But on the other hand kids outside went from laughing to screaming sometimes. I live near a kindergarten lol. Noise all day long ^^ But on the other hand the first time i slept here and woke up in HH i felt totally at one with the kids outside. felt gooood.

Last post. i thought about it and i think it's more likely that i just finished a rem phase so it's natural that i could not start a dream scene because this was the end of one.

There is an edit button, just sayin
I was still being affected by alcohol last night at 4.30am and I couldn't even get into SP. So yeah, for me it has a negative effect, and I didn't become lucid with a DILD/MILD even though I had built up intent when attempting to WILD.
About the noise, listen to some relaxing music, download naturespace for iPod/iPhone, which is great.

DEfinitely relax, I have had violent SP many times when I was younger and it helped to relax and ride it out. Start trying to visualize or see your hands in front of your face or see the wall or room in front of you. After a while you should get some visuals. When all else fails, if the SP is too painful, try focusing on shaking your head to get out of it.
