      New To WILD'ing

Iv'e had approximately 20 Lucid dreams, it came naturally to me at a younger age. I didn't do any research on "Lucid Dreaming" until about a year ago.

I have now decided to get back into "Lucid Dreaming" and it seems its a lot more popular on the internet, compared to last year.

My current goal is to induce a Lucid dream via the WILD technique.
Iv'e made a total of 3 WILD attempts , over the past 3 days.
Attempt 1: Woke up 6 hours after sleep.
      - Got up for around 1 minute
      - Attempted to WILD focusing on a ceiling fan.
      - Started to feel numb / pins&needles. Felt uncomfortable so i stopped the
      attempt.
      Attempt 2: Same Results
Attempt 3: Nothing happened, i was asleep for 5-6hours and when I woke i wasn't tired at all, couldn't fall asleep.

      So far my problems
      a) Dealing with - Very uncomfortable
      b) Not tired enough to fall asleep

      Any help Would be appreciated.

When you feel uncomfortable, you are on your way to become perfectly relaxed or you might already be, but when you have learned that, you will start to experience non-physical sensations (which means biological sensations of another body, not new age or anything but you will get what I mean) like vibrations or other weird sensations. At first you will get chocked and the sensations will vanish, or you will get scared and the sensatons will vanish. So then you have to learn to stay calm and actually not care about these sensations, just aknowledge that you have them, it's almost like meditation when you notice your thoughts, you can't pay to much attention to them, because then you will lose your focus.

When you have learned all these things, you will see your thoughts get more and more vivid, and if you keep calm all the way, you will transition into a dream, which is you in a non-physical focus (subconscious focus) in REM-sleep.

Good luck and don't worry about not being tired enough to fall asleep, it doesn't matter, because your body is supposed to fall asleep not the mind, and when you pracctise you will actually find it will become harder and harder to stay awake and aware.
