Thread: I guess there's a first for everything.

Well, this morning I woke up from a lucid (a pretty ace one if I'm honest; it was Half Life 2 virtual-reality style ) and figured I'd WILD/DEILD myself back in.

I've never once experienced any form of SP when doing such before (usually I just go straight into the dream without experiencing anything), but today was totally different. There was this rather strange ringing in my ear which kept getting louder and louder every time I allowed myself to slip deeper and deeper into the state I was in, and I felt something cover my entire body, sending strong vibrations gushing through the length of my body. Then, all of a sudden, I started hearing voices which sounded like a small child speaking which scared the hell out of me but I knew this was natural, so I faced it head on and then saw a scene forming in front of me. I just let myself go with the moment and all of a sudden I was in a completely different place sitting in some random room.

It was awesome!

I'm guessing it was a DEILD because you didn't move after you woke up?

Yeah, it was nothing like I have ever experienced before, although I do recall that horrible ringing noise somewhere from before. I wan't aware that it was SP that time, in any case.

@Arch You make it sound like this is my first DEILD? I've just never experienced SP is all.

Congrats, that sounds exactly like how SP is for me. I have noticed however that I don't get HH of voices during the vibrations, only right before the vibrations if ever. And the vibrations also seem to come in waves both physically and auditorally ( sound-wise) which get stronger and stronger and louder and louder until I'm in a dream scene.

Awesome! good job in staying calm! I think usually this part is where people get discouraged and try to stop SP from settling down.
I'm usually the same, I don't feel the SP at all, the one time I did though, I was laying on my side facing my closet, and I heard my closet door opening and inside the closet I heard that noise that the thing from "the Grudge" makes in the movies .....hella freaky, but if you remain calm you are rewarded nicely!

Good job on your achievement! Like DreamStorms said a lost of people get scared and try to break the SP. Good job on staying focused.
