      I can't obtain lucidity during during REM.

      So I tried the wild technique again and for some reason i always get to the point where my eyes start blinking rapidly and wake up. While they blink it seems like there about to open and they start opening like a little bit at a time. After they open I just find my self in my fucking room. I do realty checks and see if i can go through walls, but I cant. Hold my nose cant breathe. So its real.

      Do I open my eyes during REM?
      And another thing I really don't experience any sounds or images. Just swirls of yellow light and flashing of imagery

      Well first of all your not in rem, you do wild to enter rem in a lucid manner. Although i have experienced the flickering it could do to you being nervous now the imagery and swirls thats hypnagogia thats good we all experience it before sleep, if you try to wild before sleep thatll lead in 90% of the times in failure, if you get some sleep and try to interrupt a rem cycle then try wild thatll lead to some success, so i would reccomend getting some sleep and trying to attempt wild, before, during a rem cycle.
