I have....but it's so rare that it's not even worth it. Since I've been a member (07) I've only done it 3 times. And that's with irregular sleep. So who knows....I could have have had REM rebound.

Auron is right. If you look at a chart of sleep cycles, you initally go into cycle 1, then 2, then 3, then a brief amount of REM sleep and back into the cycles. They get less deep and have more REM each time. If you're sleep deprived, or you're going to bed at a much later or earlier time than usual, you might have a tiny period of REM before your body/brain begin the cycles. It's relatively rare, though, and the quality is poor because your body is trying to get out of REM sleep. I tried to WILD at the beginning of each night, but it left me frustrated and, I would say, detracted from my real WILD efforts. I'd be lying there, forcing myself to stay conscious, and probably end up with some fake SP or faint feelings that I would assume were HI. And then I'd never get anywhere. So when I WILDed during the night, I would be expecting those fake feelings, and it really set back my WILDing progress. Trying to WILD at the beginning of the night ended up just losing me sleep.
We were always dreaming of how it was going to be.

I think Seroquel has a lot of REM rebound cause he has a pretty erratic sleep schedule. I've never WILD without sleep prior before.
