      Got twitchy and restless?

I just attempted a WILD during a nap. I let my mind wander for a while, but then I felt like I was extremely twitchy and restless. I can replicate that effect while awake by focusing on something really hard.

When I do that, I feel like my whole body is twitching and needs to move. Does anyone have any tips for whatever this is?

You have to teach yourself to relax while staying stil.

How long were you lying down for? Sometimes if you don't relax fast or deep enough, you might get restless more quickly. I find that there's a time of day where I'm awake, but I'm still a bit mentally asleep - that point of the day where I can sort of just walk wherever and not really care. If I lie down, I don't care to change positions because I feel like I can return to sleep so easily... It's hard to explain.

If you find this time of day (mine's around 3 hours after waking) and try to WILD during it, you might have more luck. Give it a shot sometime.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
