      Am I dreaming the transition?

Recently, I've been able to get to the transition phase almost every night, but I haven't been able to get past it. I'm not sure that my transitions are real anymore.

The first time I WILDed, I felt vibrations so intense I couldn't think of anything except vibration. I also heard a sound like a train was running me over. The next time I had a WILD, the vibrations were much milder and I didn't hear any noise. I still managed to transition, though.

Now, my nightly ritual goes like this. I'll wake up on my own some time during the night, roll over, and go to sleep like I normally would. Sometime during this period though, I'll feel a change in my awareness, like my consciousness is floating...it's a little hard to describe. But I'll be completely conscious, and start concentrating on my memories of vibrations. And as soon as I do, the vibrations come.

They've become very mild, though -- like my body had been a chainsaw the first time, and now it's lightly humming. They're still unmistakeable, but dulled. And I'll be in that state for a while, able to think of anything I want. And somehow during the transition my awareness fades and I guess I fall asleep.

Last night I decided to try this technique to pass the vibrational stage. I managed to concentrate the vibrations onto my brain, but it felt like my brain was rattling around in my skull. In retrospect, the entire experience was very dreamlike. And I still fell asleep.

So do you think I'm somehow dreaming the transitions? I can control them, they're dulled, and I don't transition anymore. Or should I try to stay more conscious during the vibrations so that I can transition?
We were always dreaming of how it was going to be.

If you think you're dreaming the transition, then you've already transitioned and are in a dream. Next time you think you've 'dreamed transitioning', reality check, you may already have entered a dream.
I would also question whether every transition is dreamt, the line between wake and sleep is so blurred.

To comment on what Ctharlhie said, I actually disagree, when I used to try WILDs frequently I noticed when I expected the waves to come they started. I can confirm I definitely wasn't in a dream or transitioning though. But I'm talking about the first vibrations here not the focusing on the brain ones.

Reading back on what I said I didn't really get across what I was trying to express >_< What I was trying to say is 'A: if you have a subjective experience of 'dreaming' a transition, is it logical to say you had already entered a dream? and B: Are all transitions dreamed?'

From my previous post it looked like I was making sweeping statements about WILDing, which from the the number of WILDs I've had I'm clearly not in a position to do.

I haven't had many, it's the experience that you can share that really helps, not the ability to do it

Don't worry, I've made plenty of self-assured posts with little to no experience. Your points are really good, though. Transitions are going into dreams, so at some point in the vibrations I must enter a dream. And if I am dreaming, I'm already fully conscious because I've trained myself to recognize when I enter SP and HI. So I can begin lucid dreaming either way! Thanks

Really? Great, so it's not just me

Experienced it again last night. Woke up around 5:00am and fell asleep like usual. At some point during the night it occurred to me to try to summon the vibrations again, and I could. But they were VERY weak, and I could only feel them in my spine. My hands and the rest of me were completely vibration-free. I fell asleep right after, though, and didn't think to get up and do a reality chec, because I don't want to interrupt the transition, if it is. I really think I was dreaming then, though. :/
