I'm sorry I don't know much about WILDing, but WILD is one of (what most people would consider to be) the most difficult technique to master.
Sometimes, when things go black, your body has gone to sleep, and your mind is just waiting for a REM cycle to come around. However, like I mentioned before, I don't know much about this topic, so I could be completely off.
I would search WILD in the Wikis

Other than that, good luck, and sift through the forums, you might find exactly what you need.

      Good luck and happy dreaming!

Ok what your experiencing is actually sleep paralysis, the sounds you heard were actually hypnagogic hallucinations, if you just sit there while you hear/feel/see stuff like that, it should get more intense, then you might decide to stand up and have a false awakening, or you could immediately become lucid inside your house or another location.

Or when you saw your room with a hole in your bed... that could've been a false awakening... differs from person to person!

I'm not and expert... but i'm close enough!

      good luck!

Sounds like you've actually WILDed, you transitioned into a dream version of your bedroom. I recommend you look some stabilisation techniques to solve the 'waxiness' and heavy eyes problem (I get it too), check out Nina's great stabilisation tutorial: http://www.dreamviews.com/f12/ninas-...torial-118317/

      Moved to WILD~
