    Thread: Mixed up jumble of WILDing methods (to stay aware).. not sure which one to use

      I probably shouldn't even be posting, but I got up for my WBTB, got back in bed, moved a bit, and fell asleep. Totally forgot about WILDing.

      I attempted your technique last night again, Mancon. Once I got back in bed after my WBTB, I visualized being in a grassy field standing up. Hearing the birds in the air and feeling the breeze and the warmth of the sun on my face. Feeling the grass between my toes. Smelling the grass, and the honeysuckles. For some reason it was very hard to keep it all together, for my mind kept wandering to other things and I had to put that picture back into my head.

      It's just like I couldn't keep it in my mind if you know what I mean.
      I was laying on my back for about 20 minutes, visualizing (I never moved). I got really relaxed and almost numb. But then I thought to myself, I never get vibrations while on my back, what if I turn onto my side? So I rolled over and ended up moving a bunch, never being able to get back to that relaxed state. I eventually fell asleep, immersed in my getting comfortable and not in my visualization.
