      damn WILD

I've been using wild, actually it's the only one I can use. but I can never get a grip of it O.O. i have been using the "mantra" but I just can't make it vivid. I mean like shouting. CLARITY!! but still won't . and when I reached 10 - 20 secs. I fall out of lucidity. can you guys give me some advice? (oh I hate when I fall out of it. often wakes me up)

I'm not sure, but I believe, that practicing daytime awareness for MILD/DILD would also help you to be more aware in your WILDs and that may make them more vivid. Also, check out the stabilization techniques tutorials for making dreams longer, more stable and vivid.

First LDs may be short, but don't get discouraged. It will get better as you gain experience. And degree of awareness/clarity/control may fluctuate within a dream itself. Out of my 40 LDs, most of them were under 10 sec, only 4 were longer than 5 min. Which reminds me, I still have stuff to learn.

      Good luck!

A few stabilisation techniques and tons of practis should do the trick. The more you LD, the better it will become

The more you get discouraged by the length of your LDs, the more likely they'll stay short. Since lucid dreaming is essentially figuring out how to control your brain's subconscious, if you believe something is a problem, it will become a problem and it will stay a problem. But in the meantime, you may want to approach your WILDs passively. So when you enter a WILD, don't think about anything at all. Instead, just run your hand over the surroundings and look around. If you must think about WILDing, think about how this is YOUR dreamspace and it exists solely because of you. Reality check or spin to experience gravity and motion. The dream doesn't have to come all at once. Perhaps try to acquire each sense one by one and slowly begin to explore. Soon you'll realize any "problem" you had was all in your head.

We were always dreaming of how it was going to be.

I think the hardest thing is knowing where you are in your process of LDing

The best way to handle this is objectively if you don't have a great grip over your subconscious. Well in a WILD your just coming out of SP. Your mind hasn't really gotten a good chance to ground your focus to your dream body. I suggest that you try to connect with your dream body more. Try spinning a bit, do some dream push ups, jump up and down a bit.
