I almost had a WILD! I need advice!

Well today was my fourth time trying, and i only got about 4 hours of sleep last night so i thought i would take a midday nap, but then i thought i should try to wild.

At first i started out normal, and tryed that reverse blinking thing, it made my eyes heavy. I was thinking about some stuff and then like, i just stopped thinking. Like i didn't need to concentrate anymore. Almost if my mind was empty for about 2 minutes.

Thats when my body started to vibrate, it felt amazing. I was waiting for HH but nothing came, i saw some shapes and such, almost looking like the front of my home. But for some idiot reason i opened my right eye a tiny bit and then vibrations slowed down and stopped. I was so close this time i can feel it.

I need some tips on how to Trancend into the dream world, and what to do about HH

      Congratulations on getting close!

From what I understand some people don't experience any hypnagogic hallucinations, and you're probably better off not expecting any. Also, you will -know- when it's time to transcend into the dream world - the only thing you need to do is remain an observer. Don't engage too much with what's happening, but don't ignore it either. It's finding that balance which is key.

When I reach this point, I try to remain observant but the moment I remember to try not to interact with it, it already stops.

Practice meditation during the day. The idea of some meditation is simply being aware of yourself without actually focusing too much - that's it. If you're truly aware of your mind when you're WILDing you won't be surprised at any of the hypnagogic hallucinations as you will be "prepared" for it. I don't know if it makes any sense, but I think simply doing practices like meditation will help train this ability.

I kinda have this problem too, I tried WILDing last night and i felt like a numbness in my fingers and like they were sort of being lifted and my legs kinda felt a little off. I felt some vibrations but then nothing, I tried to just observe everything as it happened but my heart would beat faster and I would starting thinking more and more and then I ended up just going to bed lol I actually ended up with a short DILD though, like 15 seconds but still. I'm not sure if what I'm doing is right but hey never hurts to try
