      "Sleeping" through a WILD?

I was reading a WILD guide and I came across "getting out of bed" and RCing.

Now, when one enters SP and the whole hullabaloo I never want to try to check at the fear of needing to restart the process... So now I think that whenever I try, I miss my opportunity i guess? I am still incredibly new to the whole process and I never really did it in the middle of the night so I don't know if that would make it a bigger effect?

I'm not sure I understand what you're talking about. Is it a false awakening?

You get out of bed and RC, after you finish going through sensations that you recognize as transition stage. When that stage is over, you should be in a dream, in your bed. The risk in doing so is, as you correctly say, you will ruin your process, if you not in a dream. I never really woke up in my bed, so can't tell you anything more about it. But I'm fully prepared to RC, should I 'wake up' in my bed after transition. Hope this helps.

WILDing is not exactly simple and easy, exactly because not two experiences are the same. I would definitelly recomend you practice also MILD and then when your WILD fails, you still have a good chance of having a lucid, especially if you do WBTB.
