Ok on the very first page it says that you shouldn't use this to get away from reality (Even though hypotheticly this could just be ANOTHER DREAM!!! =P ok enough conspericy theorys) and that you should only sleep about 7-8 hours a day. Now what if your a teen (In my case a 15 year old math nerd ) its saturday and you sleep for like 12 hours, and you lucid dream through that time. Would that be an issue? Mostly because I sleep about 10 hours through the weekends, and I was wondering if it might be an issue. There has been times where i've been really hyped up on going to sleep to see what my next dream would be, and it would be fun. My main question is "If im not forcing myself to sleep the 10 hours and maybe even 12 hours, is it me escaping from reality?" |

Pssh. I sleep as long as I can on weekends. What can I say? I like sleeping. |

Nothing wrong with extra sleep as a teenager - as tommo said. |

As one of you said, which im to lazy to look at the name, said that meditation should only be attempted with informed adults. =) |

Generally speaking, too much of anything is bad for you; moderation is the key. Having said that, I refuse to believe that ten to twelve hours of sleep on Saturdays compared to seven or eight hours of sleep Sunday through Friday is going to present a problem. Furthermore, how much of said ten to twelve hours are you actually sleeping? It takes me at least an hour or more before I actually begin the process, not to mention getting up to use the restroom, etc. |

Lol k. The only drugs I take are vitamens, and varrious things for headaches and whatnot if they pop up. =) Like for the 10-12 hours (Generaly 10 because my mom will wake me up then >.<) I will be asleep, then I'll either just lay there for 30min to an hour later, THEN get up, or if my mom gets me up I'll get up faster. Thanks for the replys |

Most adults need between 7 and 8.5 hours sleep. Teenagers, I think about 9 or a bit more is good. |
