      I achieve then lose SP

Ive always been able to get into SP quite easily. But right when I feel the wave of numbness or vibration my body (by itself) spasms and I lose it . It's frustating because I have a pretty good ability that is useless! So if anyone has tips to fix this that would be great . Happy dreaming '

I have this as well sometimes but what I found out (for me at least it might be different for you) is that if you don't let it get to you and just relax right after you loose SP you usually regain it fairly quickly giving you multiple tries.

YES! Don't give up if you slip out of sleep paralysis. Just relax, and it will come again. I normally feel the vibrations come and go two or three times before a dream will present itself. Just be patient, and confident. You didn't ruin it, and you didn't miss your chance. Even if you feel like you are totally awake, you are not. Just go back to whatever you were doing, and it will happen again.

This is exactly the same for me. I'll go through 2-4 waves of vibrations/sounds before the dream kicks in. The first one is sometimes so startling, that I think I've lost it and I'm too awake. But if I'm tired enough, and stay relaxed, the vibrations will return and I'll slip into the dream, sometimes even skipping the SP part. Or else the SP part is so quick I don't notice it as much.

The good news is, if you're getting to the paralysis, and the vibrations, you're so incredibly on the right track! I believe in you man

Hah! I can get in it in a matter of minutes. Ive tried it for OBEs at the beginning of the night. So there is no dream to slip into. Thanks for telling me that that's how it's suppose to be !

When the vibrations go away, it might actually be a false awakening.

Do a reality check to see if your dreaming everytime the vibrations go away.

If that doesnt work, then try focusing on a dream when your in SP

Achieving SP is possibly the hardest thing for me to do. It occurs once in a blue moon. I've only experienced it 4 times. My first experience it came twice. I just experience it again today with no luck if slipping into a dream. Each time the vibrations come twice and leave. I was trying to sleep and I don't know I thought to myself I don't care anymore and the SP came.
