      Boredom during WILD

I'm frequently trying to WILD when I have time. Staying cool and confident all that jazz. Anyway, I can relax myself fine, which I think is normal, but then I get so bored. I feel like I have nothing to think about at all, and if I try, the thought runs away. And up until this point, I have no urges like rolling over or swallowing, but when this boredom comes, it all intensifies.

So, what should I do about this? I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem, and I really feel like this should be taken care of.

Like, how much time are you talking about? 10 minutes, 20 minutes?

Are you at least tired while you try to do this? Assuming you're doing a WBTB, maybe you need to stay awake for a shorter period of time.

Somewhat tired, yes. Would 15-20 minutes work better, then?

At times, if my day has been uneventful. I can't stand not having anything to do during the day, which I do suppose could come back to haunt me at night.

It might. Different times work better for different people, so you could try experimenting until you find a good amount of time. You don't want it to be so short that you'll fall asleep right away and be unable to stay conscious, but you don't want it to be so long that you have trouble falling back asleep quickly.

Thank you for the advice! I'll try working on my time when I try another WILD.

Also, try to do something that requires wakefulness, for example, writing down on you DJ, or maybe read it.
