      I can't enter sleep paralysis!

So this is very frustrating. I've realized that I cannot WILD because when I wake myself up in the later hours of sleep like I'm supposed to, I can't go back to sleep! It's annoying because I have the feeling to go back to sleep but I just can't. I also tried to do the thing with waking up in the morning. Like, I would wake up, but I wouldn't open my eyes. I would focus on my last dream and try to go back into it. Of course, I couldn't. Now into SP. whenever, I try to enter SP, I feel vibrations, I hear ringing in my hears (this and the vibrations are sort of connected), my limbs get a "mad of wax" feeling, and those actually come soon after keeping still. But, it doesn't go farther than that. Once in a while, after laying there and trying my hardest to stay relaxed, the ringing gets really loud and a lot of light and colors shines under my eyelids, and my heart starts beating real fast. Then, it all dies down. What am I doing wrong? My feet aren't crossed and my hands by my sides. Also, a problem I have is my eyelids are always twitching and so are my eyes...

Perhaps you are trying too hard to fall asleep and are too anxious, which causes you to keep awake. Try to take deep and heavy breaths before you go to bed, and get in a comftortable position. Stay calm and relaxed. Try setting your alarm to wake you up for WILD a little earlier than you usually put it at well. As for the DEILD technique you mentioned, if you try it after waking up naturally, chances are you just woke up after a REM period, and therefore you cannot do it. To perform the DEILD method, you must be in the middle of a REM period for it to be successful. If you did not wake up naturally and used an alarm, try to shorten the duration of the alarm so it doesn't wake you up as much. Incase you didn't know, you can not move OR open your eyes during the DEILD technique. That is why you must have an alarm that turns itself off. On top of that, you should be relaxed in calm like i mentioned above with the WILD technique. Also, it can be possible that after attempting the WILD or DEILD technique, you thought you failed, but entered a false awakening. Make sure that every time you think you failed, you do a reality check. Hope this helped!

I have the same problem too. Since I know about WILD and try to practice them tree times (of course fail), I found myself really hard to fall asleep.

What I do now is exercise before I first go to bed. Who knows if I can experience SP when I woke up.
