It sounds like you got a little to excited. It happens to us all... |

So I decided I was going to take a nap earlier, and was thinking about WILDing, but then I thought that it would keep me awake. So I let myself fall asleep after I flipped over onto my stomach. I was in a dream and digging through dirt looking for Native American artifacts, when I suddenly woke up, but didn't move. Next thing I know, I feel this crazy rushing feeling, and hear the rushing in my ears, then I realize what's going on. So I let it happen but I didn't really have a dream to enter so I couldn't do anything but lay there. Any tips on what to do after this happens? |

Thanks! I'll be sure to stay calm next time. |

What did you remember seeing? Nothing, but you knew you were awake? Try moving your body, it might seem counter productive because you might think your going to wake up, but the fact is if you entered sleep paralysis and that is what stops you from physically moving, not mentally though and you already were awake. Sometimes being in the void is how my lucid dreams start, just try to move slowly at first. Then from their you can practice manipulating your unconscious body. |

Alright so it happened again sometime this morning, but this time I felt as if I couldn't breathe, and that really hindered the just letting it happen part. So it didn't happen, and I couldn't fall back asleep. |
