The need for Relaxation for WILD in the morning

      Hello reader

      I have a question,

After I wake up around 06:00 am and attempt a WILD, is there a need to perform relaxation techniques. I would assume we are all physically and mentally relaxed when we wake up. I read some articles on WILD that indicate you should perform the 61 point relaxation technique. Why ??

Could someone clarify the rationale behind this ?

      Thanks a lot

If you can't fall asleep, you can do relaxation technique. But if you do the WBTB right, you should stay nicely relaxed, as you say.

If I wake up 06:00 I will usually just lay still with closed eyes and daydream for a moment, and if I feel any changes I just go with it until it transitions into a dream.

If nothing happens I just fall asleep normally and this is usually enough to leave me more aware within the dream to increase the chances for DILD.

The 61 point relaxation is just a tool, the intent of it is to get relaxed and to stay aware through the process. But you naturally know how to do that so if you don't like that method try something else.

But upon awakening I agree with you, there is no need for physical body relaxation since it's already relaxed.
