I read on the internet that if you think of pictures of characters you can easily remember it is a good method for WILD. |

Not sure what exactly you read but visualization can work well as an anchor, also it can be anything not necessarily characters, just don't forget that your goal is to fall asleep while being aware, so don't overdo it, though i think concentrating on single image/scene would work better. Also be sure to compare the steps you are doing for WILD with this tutorial: WILD , in case if the knowledge about WILDing that you already have comes from incorrect guide/tutorial. |

I'll have a try at it tonight. I'm a heavy sleeper and am easily distracted, I'm the type that sleeps through alarm clocks. xD So I think that might be better as it requires more concentration. If it doesn't work well, I'll try something else. |

When you are thinking of images as you falling asleep, that serves more for dream incubation. You may/may not dream about what you thinking of. And you are right, it's best to think of something you are very familiar with. Like your childood room, mom's kitchen, classroom... |

Thank you |

along with what Gab said, i've found that personally it's not good for me to try concentrating too hard on the images. fine tune your own mantra then just let the vision come as your mind wanders. it might take a while for you to learn how to watch it passively and not interfere with the falling asleep process. |
