Sleep Paralysis Help-- Please for the love of god help me!

      Hello Dreamers!

So lately, I've not been able to achieve sleep paralysis when performing my WILD routine:

Go to sleep, wake up after first dream
      Relaxation Method
Roll over and picture numbers in head
      Achieve Hypnagogic Hallucations/Sleep Paralysis
      Go to dream

I seem to be on the verge and stuck on the verge of SP. If anyone here knows what I'm doing wrong, and how to help, please post a comment below!

      Thanks!
      Soph

Yeah, sorry about tutorials that claim you need to get into SP in order to WILD. SP is a disorder, it can't be induced at will and it's not part of lucid dreaming process.

      http://www.dreamviews.com/wake-initi...mystified.html

As far as HH are concerned, you don't always get them, or you may not notice them. Or they are of different intensity, or they are completely different kind of HH from your previous attempts.

I go through stages, when I have mostly visual HH - dreams in form of videos that I see behind closed eyelids and I can enter LD by wishing myself inside of the dream. Then I may mostly just notice, that I can see my room, or some other place and I get up or roll out of my body into LD. Sometimes I get mostly just moving sensations, like falling or flying.

With all that said, we really shouldn't pay too much attention to the physical sensations, as they keep us focused on the physical.

If you wanna describe what you experience, I will try to help more. You can also check out http://www.dreamviews.com/wake-initi...ntry-wild.html

And very detailed and well explained WILD (sagaous) tutorial

You are doing the common misstake that we all do and get stuck on.

You are putting too much importance on right sleep timing, relaxation, illusion of sleep paralysis or hypnagogic states.

Don't get me wrong all those factors are helpful and makes the process easier, but they are not necessary for WILDing at all.

All that is required to WILD is the transition.

Here is a post that go more into detail: http://www.dreamviews.com/wake-initi...ml#post2029862

Basically you are standing on the inside of a house on the treshold, focusing so hard on the doorknob that you forget that you actually have to move your body out of the door. This was an analogy what you, me and most people actually are doing is standing on the treshold of dream and waking reality but focus so much on the physical body that we actually forget that we have to move our awareness!

When your body is FULLY outside the house you are by definition FULLY OUT.

When your focus of awareness is FULLY outside in the dream you are by definition FULLY OUT.

It's so ridiculously odd that we forget this obvious fact.

Not making fun of anyone, I used to think like in the wrong way for 2-3 years!

If you want out of your house, move your body! If you want out of your "body", move your focus awareness!
And DON'T focus on bodily sensations because then you are focusing your awareness on the PHYSICAL.

And now someone might ask, do I need to sleep or be in the hypnagogic state in order to transition into a dream then?

And then they have missed the entire point. It's like asking do I need to have rest or wear shoes in order to go out of my house then?

And the answer is NO!!!!! Resting/ Sleeping only makes it easier to move, and wearing shoes/ being in the hypnagogic state only makes it more comfortable.

But it's not necessary for the transition itself, all you need is to MOVE your awareness.

Ok I am writing alot, I am just so mad at myself for missing this for so long...

Good luck I hope you get my point!
