      What am I doing wrong?

Yesterday I found King Yoshi's WILD lucid dream technique and wanted to try it out. I fell asleep last night (or rather, a few hours ago), but it took a LOT of effort. My alarm clock was set for 2 1/2 hours afterwards. Yoshi said to wait untill REM sleep to actually do the attempt, but I couldn't recall a single thing when my alarm woke me up. I did what he said and set my alarm clock to 45 minutes later. When I woke up then I still couldn't remember anything. After repeating that for a while, I got confused as to we hat I was doing wrong and quit. Was I waking up at the wrong time? Do I just have really crappy dream recall? Can anyone help me with this?

I'd also like to note that recently I've been having some issues with dream recall, I haven't been able to remember any of my dreams, lucid or not, for a few weeks now.

      1. intently work on the development of dream recall in the first place
      2. after you had better dream recall - 2 dreams/night at least - I would recommend you practice wbtb with mild http://www.dreamviews.com/attaining-...technique.html this is best for the beginners
wild is not really a good starting point if you are not naturally talented at it

Get more sleep. If you can't remember any dreams, it's because you're mostly having deep dreamless sleep, which happens when you're chronically sleep deprived or taking drugs like alcohol or ambien.
