Really, I wait for the sensations to pass, and while they are passing I begin imagining I'm swinging out of my body..kind of pivoting at my feet. I dont' really picture it..it literally FEELS like I'm swinging outwards. At some point I open my dream eyes.

Pyschologically, I think the point is that by doing some sort of action in your mind, it sort of initiates the dream sequence.

Thank you! IŽll definately try it tonight. IŽm not really sure what you mean with the swinging out Do you start picturing it and it turns into a physical motion, or do actually do the motion you would do in real life?

      Nothing to be embarrased about.

I don't like a lot of this guy's stuff, but here is a video/article taht talks about what I'm talking about. He calls it an "exiting method"...ways to exit the "body falling asleep phase" into the dream:

      Exiting methods

You picture it in your mind. It happens all in your mind. your physical body will be asleep. It's no different than when you are in a dream, and you picture doing something, and it happens in the dream.
