That's probably the part in which dream starts to form
Here's example process:
1. At first you see probably blackness or fog of colors
2. Shapes are starting to appear
3. Shapes are becoming 3D
4. Small scenes start to be created on sight
5. One of the scenes starts to grow bigger and bigger till it fills your whole sight or maybe all scenes start to grow if there was more than one and connect with eachother?
6. If scene starts to fill your sight you wait for it to become 3D and till you start feeling your existance in it or just when you know that your in.
7. And that's where fun starts
I suggest you to observe those images as the people said passivly
So don't put much focus on it or it will wake you up.
Some people might use those shards of dreams to form the scene they want to appear or to transition instantly into dream
But i wouldn't suggest that since entering the dream is already a process that happens on it's own every night
And you might accidently end up messing stuff up when trying to enter the dream or start forming your own
I'd just continue on using anchor.
Unfortunely i myself don't get much of hypnagonia during WILDs
Maybe because i'm not even considering to checkout my sight
