      Can't stay awake when wilding

      Hello everyone,

I wake up in the middle of the night. But I'm to tired to walk around for like 30 minutes. And also I'm to tired to stay awake to wild. How to stay awake/aware during a WILD.

You're supposed to go to sleep when WILDing. Awareness is what you're looking for, but not too much or that will keep you awake too. Have a read of the guide below; it's extremely helpful:

If you are too tired, then you need to sleep more! Get a more consistent sleep schedule, use your willpower (Don't let your body tell you how to live!), and use the word "too" and you will be set!

I usually only WBTB for about 5 minutes, write down tags and repeat. I do this multiple times at night to increase WILD chances and DILD chances. I usually WILD about twice a week (which is about 2/35 tries) and I have been practicing for two and a half years! If you are trying only one time a night and you have only been trying since July, we come up with 4*30 = 120 different tries. Not that many at all really! If I (at my current level tried that many times I would only end with ! I don't think that I WILDed within my first 4 months either. It is hard to enter a place that you haven't been before. I would only end with 6, and that is with experience. I would recommend trying a combination of the two! trying for both all the time is a great way to maximize lucidity. The thread that AM posted is a great way to learn to WILD.
