i felt my body disappearing but no dream snippet. is it normal to not have dream snippets as you feel SP happening?

If your body disappeared you might already be in a dream; in a dream waiting for dream snippets or SP.

Don't rely on seeing or feeling anything, although from my experience the only 90% reliable feeling is a slight buzz sensation and then the feeling of being in a dream (dreams do feel different, it's subtle and I'm not sure how to describe it), but you can miss that too.

so dream snippets sometimes don't happen?

They don't always happen, for some people they might rarely ever happen and for others it might be often and if they happen often they might stop happening after a while (which happened for me).
