Wild Occurence...where to go from here?

I was attempting to WILD. I was very relaxed, HIs were particularly strong (I often find I get hardly any or loads). I was mentally, calmly reciting my relaxing mantra when suddenly I could see journalist Janet Street-Porter directing traffic in a road before me, and I said to her, "You're not doing a very good job of that" (where does this stuff come from? ) . My mantra has stopped during this (without trying). Then I'm kind of jumping in shock thinking, "What the heck was that?" and my mini-dream dies and I'm back to saying my mantra. What did I do wrong? Should I have tried to 'enter' the mini-dream there, or should I have passively watched the mini-dream while resolutely continuing with my mantra? (I don't know if it helps, but I wasn't actually SEEING the scene, it was more like I was instantly aware of it without actually viewing it with my eyes.)

Hi, those are called 'dreamlets' which are snippets of mini dreams that usually happen when wilding. They are im led to believe come under the 'umbrealla' of Hypnogogia hillusinations' You should not interact with then or you might fall asleep. As they are HI then you are not yet in REM and so cannot enter then. Passivley observe them and hang onto your mantra and hopefully REM is not far off. Once rem kicks in one of thoses dreamlets may appear and simply engulf you into it
